The city of Salto offers visitors important cultural and historical attractions. We suggest a visit to the city center visiting the Plaza Artigas and Plaza Treinta y Tres, the Larrañaga Theater (J. Suárez 39 between Uruguay and Artigas), and the museums:
Historical Museum of the Uruguay River: it gathers documents, photographs and pieces belonging to wrecks, models, uniforms, flags and naval symbols, old ticket tickets and utensils on board. Location: old Customs guard, esplanade of the Port. It is necessary to coordinate in advance the visit to 47327014 Edmundo Pratti Museum: contains works donated by the family of the famous sculptor.
